Northcott Theatre – Plan Your Visit

Getting Here & Parking

Exeter Northcott Theatre is located at the heart of the University of Exeter’s Streatham campus – and we’re open to all!

The Great Hall is located right next door, so it’s also really easy to get to.

Food and Drink – Theatre Café

Our café is open Monday – Friday 10am – 4pm, and until show time on performance days. On Saturday, our café is open from 2 hours before the first performance.

We serve delicious fresh pizza (daytime and evenings) and paninis (daytime only) made on site, as well as locally-sourced snacks.

For matinées, food will be served until 30 mins before show time.

For evenings, food will be served until 7pm.

For most performances, you’ll be able to pre-order interval drinks and ice creams. Before a performance, you will receive a text message from ‘ExeTheatres’, which gives you access to an e-copy of your ticket and pre-orders for interval drinks and ice creams.

To the right of the chalkboard, a pint-sized plastic cup. On the cup, the Exeter Northcott Theatre logo in pink. Underneath the logo, text reads 'Help save our planet. Return me to the bar.'

Reusable Cups

We’re committed to reducing our environmental footprint where we can.

That’s why we have recently started a reusable cup scheme for cold drinks to replace the use of disposable cups at both our venues.

To make sure these cups don’t end up in a landfill anyway, we’re asking for a £1 deposit with your drinks purchase. All you have to do to get your deposit back in full, is to return your cup to the bar.

Thank you for working with us on a more sustainable future!

Access and Facilities

We believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience live theatre. We are striving to make our theatre as accessible as possible and recognise that not all disabilities are visible.

If you have any access needs, please get in touch and we’ll gladly assist.
