Summer 2026 Programme Highlights

Made by Exeter Nortcott

In March, you’ll see your favourite Northcott actors again in the thigh-slapping musical comedy Forever Young, featuring the greatest sing-along hits. An atmospheric and imaginative new play, Daphne explores the secret lives of Daphne Du Maurier, one of the 20th century’s best-selling authors, whose work vividly expresses her love for the South-West landscape. Our Autumn production will be the iconic musical theatre hit Little Shop of Horrors.
Daphne promotional artwork: digital illustration of a Daphne Du Maurier emerging from a choppy sea with just her eyes, forehead and hair visible. Below, a typewriter and loose pieces of paper sink into the water. Above, the stormy sky is dark grey and full of birds. Text reads: 'Made By Exeter Northcott. Exeter Northcott Presents. Daphne. The Secret Lives of Daphne Du Maurier. Written by Rosie Race'.

Be part of our story

We believe everyone is the South West should be able to live a full creative life.

We’re here to bring people together for brilliant creative experiences; to tell extraordinary stories, and to understand each other better.

Each year more than 100,000 people see events at the Northcott Theatre and at the Barnfield Theatre in the city centre. Thousands more participate in our creative activities: we offer vital support for South-West theatre makers though our artist development programme; we offer life-long creative opportunities to children as young as five all the way through to adulthood; and we work closely with communities, school and other charities across the South West to give opportunities to people who need them most.

We are a registered charity, bringing joy and changing lives through theatre.
