A Christmas Carol
For over ten years Exeter’s favourite funny men Le Navet Bete have been creating bonkers physical comedy for all and their latest offering is no different. After the huge success of their previous Christmas show Treasure Island (crowned Exeter Living Awards ‘Best Event’ 2021), Le Navet Bete are back with another twist on a classic – A Christmas Carol.
Featuring larger-than-life characters, this riotous reimagining of the Dickens classic includes giant exploding puddings, hypo-allergenic Christmas trees and a ‘Not So Tiny Tim’. With their trademark blend of slap-stick humour, quick wit and the occasional rib-bustingly funny bit of improv, A Christmas Carol promises to be yet another joyfully silly show.
A collaboration with one of UK theatre’s best comedy writers and directors John Nicholson (BBC Radio 4, The Hound of the Baskervilles), this delightful tale is guaranteed to lift spirits and melt even the coldest of hearts this Christmas.
