Following today’s news regarding Exeter City Council’s review of the Corn Exchange, Exeter Northcott Theatre is delighted to hear of the exciting possibilities for the building and looks forward to taking a full part in any consultation and appraisal process.

Paul Jepson, Exeter Northcott’s Artistic and Executive Director said: “Having successfully negotiated the return to in house production the Exeter Northcott team sense that there is real appetite for large scale performance in the City”

Lady Studholme, Exeter Northcott’s Chair said “I am delighted that Exeter City Council is undertaking a wide-ranging and in-depth feasibility study for the provision of a new build performance space in the City. There is a tangible and significant groundswell of cultural interest and engagement across all art forms, and this is the most welcome and logical next step for a city that is as fast-growing and dynamic as ours.”
