Young Creatives to Collaborate with Paddleboat Theatre’s Michael Smith

We are excited to announce that the Guest Artist for our Young Creatives group this term will be Michael Ramus from Paddleboat Theatre.

Our Young Creatives will create a radio play with Michael which they will perform on stage at our Barnfield Theatre with live foley and sound effects.

Our Wednesday evening group for our older NYC participants follows the Young Creatives model.

Participants in this group work with industry professionals each term to support their creative development and have, this year, worked with Le Navet Bete, Steve Bennett, Sian Keen (Scratchworks and Running Dog Theatre) and RADA trained dance practitioner Charlotte Ewart.

Our work has continued with the Young Creatives steering group. A co-run project by Charice Bhardwaj and Yusuf Niazi culminated in a spoken word performance, To The Ones Who Get It.

Members of our Young Creatives group have recently performed at Four of Sword’s Madame Thespia’s Deliciously Diverse open-mic nights.
