Bridging the gap between our Young Company and Elevate, Young Creatives is a space for young people aged 16 – 19 who are interested in pursuing a career in theatre. Across our three-term programme, you will work alongside the team at the Northcott and Barnfield Theatres to create a show with professional production values that will be performed on one of our stages at the end of the programme. The group meets on Wednesday evenings across the whole academic year, with occasional weekends.

There is an audition process to take part in this group, but it’s not your typical audition. We run workshop auditions in September – you will not need to prepare anything in advance, instead you will take part in a session run by one of our team that will get you working with different people in different ways. This is to achieve two things: firstly, we will get the chance to make sure we have the best fits for the group; and you will be able to decide if this is the right group for you.

This is a really exciting opportunity to be part of a show created alongside a professional team and get real experience of the theatre industry before taking the next steps in your creative journey.

The cost per term is £150. Limited bursaries are available. Please tick the relevant box on the form if you want to be considered for a bursary.
