Professional Development

As well as the training and professional development schemes we run ourselves, we try to make sure that theatre-makers in the Southwest can access national opportunities by working in partnership with a range of amazing organisations.

Recent collaborations include:

BEAM – pitching event for new musical theatre writers
David Glass Ensemble – training in their Lost Child methodology
Graeae Theatre Company – theatre writing scheme for disabled artists
Jerwood Arts – fellowship scheme for artists from under-represented backgrounds
Kick Start – six month training scheme for young people on Universal Credit
Regional Theatre Young Director Scheme – intro to directing workshops
Stage One – one year regional theatre producer placement
Vamos Theatre – mask training for artists from under-represented backgrounds
