Finding My Voice

With the support of the Northbrook Community Trust we were able to run our Finding My Voice programme. This year long, intensive project, delivered with Creative Education Consultant Rachel Higginson, supported a group of 20 young people in transition from primary to secondary school.

The drama focused project encouraged the group to literally and metaphorically find their voice through one to one sessions, group activities, work on stage at the Barnfield and through bespoke trips and visiting speakers. The impact of this programme was transformative for a large number of the young people involved.

The project also enabled us to support the young people and their families to see live performance through our Pay It Forward scheme.
