We were excited to have a group of our NYC members back at the theatre for four days back in August. We spent the time exploring themes of lockdown, including the experiences and frustrations our young people faced whilst isolated from routines and each other. This quickly evolved from a socially distanced theatre performance into a short film. The group wanted to convey their hopes and aspirations for the future, and the change they want to see.
The film was used as a stimulus for discussion and exploration for NYC’s first term back together since lockdown and culminates in 3 performances on the Northcott stage as part of UNLOCKtoberfest.
