A Flibbertigibbet Theatre Production
The Farmer & The Clown
Supported by Wyldwood Arts and Bristol Old Vic
A story of unexpected friendship told through physical comedy and dance.
An old hard-working farmer lives alone. One day, a baby clown accidentally bounces off a passing circus train and is separated from his family and friends. A little reluctantly at first, the farmer takes the clown in and, as time passes, they discover that by being with each other, they find something new in themselves.
Adapted from the charming picture-book by author and illustrator Marla Frazee (The Boss Baby), this wordless, heart-warming show is accompanied by an original live score.
‘Joyful, tender and triumphant, without a word spoken, this is storytelling at its finest’ – The Washington Post on Marla Frazee’s The Farmer and the Clown
