Show of Hands

  • Show Information

UNLOCKtobefest culminates in a unique opportunity to see West Country folk legends Show of Hands. Steve and Phil will be joined by Cormac and Miranda to capture what promises to be a very special occasion at the Northcott. A small, restricted audience will be present as Show of Hands films and performs the show they would have been playing to thousands this Autumn!

“Formidable operators in the roots arena.  A class act.” – The Independent

Please note that as this a filming session, the audience will be asked to come in earlier than they would usually for a gig. Please make sure to keep an eye on your inbox, as details about our Coronavirus measures, as well as arrival times will be shared with you via email.

The performance is sold on a socially-distanced basis.

Theatre is best enjoyed with family and friends. When you look at the seating plan to book your tickets for this show, you will notice that there are gaps between available seats, but you will be able to enjoy the show with your bubble. To make sure that social distancing is adhered to across the auditorium, you will only be able to book all of the seats within a ‘bubble’. If your required bubble size is not available (including larger groups!), or you have any access needs, please get in touch with us on 01392 72 63 63 (Tue-Sat 10am-2pm) or via [email protected] and we will do everything in our power to accommodate you.

Exeter Northcott Theatre and Le Navet Bete's Dick Whittington artwork. Background: a foggy panorama photo of the city of London, with iconic buildings such as Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, and St Paul's Cathedral. The cityscape is washed over with a burgundy haze. Foreground: A black and white cat (black body, white neck collar, white paws) looks towards the cityscape and we see them in near silhouette. They are stood on a yellow-brick path, with green grassy hills either side of them. On the hills, grey rats with large red eyes. On the left hand side of the cat, a rat holds a stereotypical hobo sack on a stick. At the top of the artwork, gold text reads: 'Exeter Northcott Theatre and Le Navet Bete present Dick Whittington.' Another group of rats with large red eyes are playing around the letters in 'Dick Whittington'. A cat paw icon replaces the dot on top of the letter 'I' in 'Dick', and a block of cheese replaces the dot on top of the second letter 'I' in 'Whittington.
