Puppetry Masterclass: Exeter Northcott Futures

  • Show Information

The art of bringing inanimate objects to life in a way that can be humorous, thought provoking, tender, magical, or all of the above is the focus of this masterclass. During this session, you will be brought on a journey to discover new techniques and understanding in working with puppets.

Puppeteer David Oliver will deliver this masterclass.

About the artist

David Oliver graduated from Bretton Hall College with a BA Hons in Dramatic Arts and Dramatic Presentation. Since then, combining his love and knowledge of performance, history, folklore, prop making and puppetry, he has developed a lively performance style and detailed, often fantastical look to the work he makes – whether it be walkabout character, a puppet creation or costumed storytelling.

This workshop is aimed at early career artists, age 18+ only.
