Down Stage Write is a theatre company dedicated to creating development and production opportunities for playwrights in Devon and Cornwall. They do that through workshops, script development and projects that bring new writing to audiences across the region and further afield.

Jon Nash is a freelance playwright and theatre director based in the South West. He also works as the Literary Associate for Theatre Royal Plymouth and as a lecturer at the University of Plymouth.

Sam Parker is a freelance playwright and theatre practitioner based in the South West. A co-founding member of the Narwhal ensemble, Sam has read for the Finborough Theatre, has been a member of the Royal Court Young Writers Programme, and is currently working on his first seed commission for Theatre Royal Plymouth.
