ETO – Giulio Cesare

Handel’s Giulio Cesare is a majestic opera, a story of passion and revenge featuring music of immense dramatic intensity. The opera follows the events surrounding Julius Caesar’s conquest of Egypt, as well as his uneasy alliance and romance with fabled Egyptian queen Cleopatra, in a revival of ETO’s 2017 production.

English Touring Opera will be joined on stage by Exeter Festival Chorus.

Exeter Northcott Theatre and Le Navet Bete's Dick Whittington artwork.
