Richard Chappell is an internationally renowned choreographer with roots in Exeter and audiences all over the Globe. Richard Chappell has already worked with a string of well-known names, including the Royal Opera House and Studio Wayne McGregor as well as grass roots community organisations.

“The Northcott’s energy, diverse programming and dedication to dance has allowed audiences to embrace a wide range of leading contemporary dance and ballet companies and we’re thrilled to work with the theatre to expand on future projects as a leading dance ensemble in the South West of England.

With support from our Northcott Futures programme, Richard Chappell Dance developed a new production that premiered at our theatre before embarking on a national tour. The piece, Infinite Ways Home, will combine the talents of electronic musicians, Larch, concert violinist Enyuan Khong and a company of extraordinary dancers to create a multi-sensory production exploring rave, ritual and the way we connect with each other.”

Richard Chappell Dance returned to the Northcott last May with Hot House, and will perform at our city centre Barnfield Theatre this October to celebrate the company’s 10th anniversary.
