Nursing Lives

  • Show Information

Vamos Theatre return to Exeter Northcott Theatre with their heart-warming wartime full-mask show Nursing Lives.

When Flo, a feisty seventy-something, learns that the hospital she trained at during the Second World War is being demolished, she decides to take one last look – and stop the bulldozers in their tracks. Her illicit visit becomes a personal celebration of friendship, courage, adventure and romance…
This full-mask theatre production is alive with visual inventiveness, evocative music and song, physical theatre and 1940s dance sequences, as it celebrates nurses at work and play during the years of World War II.
Nursing Lives is supported by Arts Council England, Sanctuary Care and Worcestershire County Council.
