Margarine

By Charlie Ranken

Today, one of us still drinks too much, sleeps too little and reminisces far too much about missed opportunities of youth, and the other carries a fish around in a bag. End of story really.

What Would Sharron Davies Do?

By Lesley Emery

Janis Barlow needs a bit of change. Her marriage is shaky and at Angel Waves, the salon where she works, all the new hairdressing gimmicks are passing her by. Janis is getting older and she’s soooo unfit. Sharron Davies has always been her hero, though even that’s become a bit tarnished these days. Janis does what anyone would do… despite having no swimming pool she takes up synchronised swimming. You can learn anything on the YouTube these days…

“Lesley is a skilled and engaging performer and Janis is a delight.” – Fringe Guru

Santa vs The People

By OMF Theatre

Santa is being replaced….by Amazon. As Jeff Bezos says ‘what could be more magical than a van pulling up outside your house on Christmas Day, or Eve or sometime around then’. Santa is arrested for environmental crimes and must answer for his past crimes such as overworking reindeer and victorian children.

On trial Santa must tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, like how he gets around the world in one day. How do reindeers fly and where do elves come from?

From OMF Theatre, the makers of Barmy Nonsense and Apocalypse Kernow comes a radio play style comedy. In a world where everything changes, has Santa become outdated?

Charlotte 2.0: Main Character Syndrome (the adventures of a reluctant estate agent in a national housing crisis)

By Charlotte Evans

Ever since she could remember, Charlotte has wanted to be famous, and she’d probably do anything to achieve her dream.

Approximately three years ago, Charlotte had an idea that would make her more infamous than she could imagine – she would pretend to be Boris Johnson’s illegitimate daughter. After an Edinburgh fringe debut and three years of pretending to be Charlotte Johnson, she’s ready to become reacquainted with Charlotte Evans – whoever that is...

Houdini’s Greatest Escape artwork: An illustration that shows the top of a crystal ball, within which we see Houdini (a white man wearing a grey suit) with his hands in cuffs, looking surprised. Surrounding him are disembodied hands holding a variety of objects: a fake gun shotting a flag that reads ‘bang!’, a key, a set of playing cards, a safe, an elephant and a goldfish in a bowl. A woman’s face peers over the crystal ball, only her eyes visible.
