Vamos Theatre Emerging Artists Taster Workshop

  • Show Information

Vamos Theatre is excited to be partnering with Exeter Northcott Theatre on its new Vamos Emerging Artists programme.

We want to discover the next generation of 18-24-year-old mask performers from diverse communities across the UK, so are inviting you to take part in a mask taster session. Come and learn Vamos Theatre’s approach to mask work, creating physical character and devising non-verbal theatre that connects and moves audiences.

From the taster days, Vamos will bring together a group of young people for a residency in summer 2022 to create and perform mask theatre from shared stories and backgrounds. We welcome all, and particularly encourage artists from diverse ethnic backgrounds to apply.

Book your place on the taster session here today. Vamos Theatre is an inclusive company; please let us know how we can make accessing this programme easier for you via [email protected].

This taster session will take place from 11am to 4pm at the Barnfield Theatre.

Limited bursary places are available. Please contact our Producer (Artist Development), Helen Bovey, to find out more.
