Sonia is a multidisciplinary artist working across performance, writing, and movement. With a practice guided by play, curiosity, and collaboration, she often explores themes of identity, queerness, and connection. Since graduating from the University of Exeter with a first in Drama, she’s also worked with companies such as Doorstep Arts and Beyond Face, as a practitioner and creative producer, inspired by her own experiences of community arts whilst growing up in Yorkshire.
Sonia is excited to be joining the Artist Assembly and interested in how creative practices can invite reflection, connection, and change, and contribute to more inclusive artistic spaces.
