In memory of Paul McClure

We are saddened to hear of the passing of the esteemed musician, Paul McClure. Paul worked extensively for Exeter Northcott offering his extraordinary talent to more than 70 productions from 1988 to 2018.

As a musician and Musical Director his credits include Peter Pan (1988), A Chorus of Disapproval (1989), All My Sons (2002) and Look Back in Anger (2003) plus an extensive catalogue of the Northcott’s Shakespeare in the Park productions performed in Rougemont Gardens. As a writer, his production of A Curlew’s Cry was staged in 1996. Most recently, he was the Musical Director of the Northcott’s 2018 production of Jack and the Beanstalk.

We are honoured to have worked with Paul for so many years. His exceptional talent has contributed to many wonderful productions and left an indelible mark on the Northcott.

For anyone who may have known him and would like to pay their respects, Paul’s funeral will be held on Mon 20 Jan, 11.30am at Exeter & Devon Crematorium, St Peter’s Chapel.
