Applications open now for a four day research and development residency with financial support.

Got a new idea for a show that you want to explore? Need financial support and in-kind space to make that happen?

As part of its Elevate Programme, Exeter Northcott and Barnfield Theatres are announcing its next open call for South-West artists to be our next Elevate R&D company, as part of Elevate Festival in November!

The selected company/artist will receive 4 days of in-kind space in our Southernhay room, and a £500 contribution towards costs for the week. They will also be invited to end the week with a work-in-progress sharing if that is useful for the work.

This opportunity is geared towards early ideas and having space to play with them without the pressure on output.
