COMPETITION NOW CLOSED
We’re teaming up with Clip ‘n Climb Exeter on a climbing challenge to celebrate our next family pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, co-produced with Le Navet Bete.
“We’re thrilled to be one of the lead sponsors for Exeter Northcott and Le Navet Bete’s production of Jack and the Beanstalk this Christmas. It’s a brilliant partnership that brings together two great attractions in the city.” says Damian Johnson, Clip ‘n Climb Exeter Managing Director, “To celebrate, we’ve relaunched one of our Clip’ n Climb elements as The Beanstalk and added a magical twist: climbers who find a golden coin at the top of the climb will be entered into a competition to win four panto tickets, with monthly winners between now and the opening of the show in November. It’s a chance for climbers of all ages to take on their own Beanstalk adventure — no golden egg required!”
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Clip ‘n Climb Exeter for this truly unique and exciting challenge,” say our Joint Chief Executives Emma Stephenson, Kelly Johnson, and Martin Berry. “It’s a fantastic way to bring the magic of Jack and the Beanstalk beyond the stage and into the community, encouraging families to have a giant amount of fun before they even set foot in the theatre. We’re especially grateful that Clip ‘n Climb will also be supporting our Pay It Forward scheme, gifting free tickets to local families who would otherwise be unable to come to the theatre at Christmas.”
To kick off the fun, Le Navet Bete’s Matt Freeman, Al Dunn and Nick Bunt — A.K.A Dame Trott, Jack, and Billy — visited Clip ‘n Climb to tackle the beanstalk. The ensuing chaos has been captured in a hilarious video.
“We had a great time on our recent visit to Clip ‘n Climb, ahead of our upcoming pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk, co-produced with the Exeter Northcott Theatre!” Le Navet Bete said. They also promised a great time for competition winners: “This year, audiences can expect to see a fun Le Navet Bete-style take on this classic Christmas tale — lots of laughs, rapid costume changes, and of course, a wig or two!”
