Lauren King is Director of Producing & Administration for Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre and a member of the theatre’s newly formed senior leadership team. Lauren is responsible for all produced work at the venue, supporting the artistic team with their growing commissioning slate as well as working closely with the Executive Director to further the life of the theatre’s productions. Before this role Lauren was Deputy Director for National Theatre Productions, and responsible for the producing and general management of their global productions such as War Horse and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, across her 11-year career there. Lauren has a keen interest in touring work and developing audiences and started her theatre career touring schools and community centres in Devon, after graduating from Exeter University. Lauren is excited to re-establish her connection with the South West and is delighted to be playing some small part in the Northcott Theatre’s essential mission to use the arts to bring people together and understand each other better.
