The Devon Choirs Big Weekender

Calling all South West choirs!

July 2025 will see the return of the Devon Choirs Big Weekender; a bold, exciting, community-focused event for South West-based choirs.

Over two fabulously musical days in July, we will welcome selected local choirs to come together to perform on our iconic main stage, take part in exciting workshops led by industry professionals and to socialise, eat, drink and share in the joy of singing.

Every choir will enjoy:

  • Their own 20-minute performance slot on the main stage to perform for friends and family
  • Lighting and sound support to make their performance extra special
  • Access to workshops with music and choir industry professionals
  • On stage accompaniment by our live band
  • Space to advertise their choir
  • Inclusion in The Devon Choirs Big Weekender programme

Each choir will also take home a certificate in recognition of their participation in the event.

The dates of the event are 19 – 20 July, and each choir will perform on one of those two days. Members will be able to buy a full-day ticket for their performance day, giving them access to the workshops and performances across the whole day.

The event is open to both adult and children’s choirs, with a minimum age guidance of 8 years old, and no maximum!

The fee per participant is £30. There is no choir registration fee.

Please note that this event is a fundraiser for the Northcott’s work in the local community with young people and children, supporting their work in particular with disadvantaged young people, improving their wellbeing, aspirations and confidence.

Participant registration has now closed for this event.
