The Northcott Theatre Choir

Welcome to the Northcott Theatre Choir! After launching in Spring 2025, this is a no-audition choir for adults who like to sing, socialise and have fun! Each term, the music will be inspired by the Northcott’s shows and productions – ranging from classic musical theatre and show tunes to moving sea shanties inspired by our South West roots. Rehearsals will take place weekly, and the choir has become an exciting part of the Northcott family, performing regularly in our venues and at theatre events. Whether you are a seasoned soprano or looking to return to a long-forgotten hobby, we want you to be a part of the Exeter Northcott Theatre Choir.

The Northcott People’s Company

Each term the Northcott People’s Company will explore drama techniques, practitioners, plays and characters, often working towards scenes or shows to share with an audience.

Participants will also have unique access to Northcott shows, ticket deals and more, and will be invited each year to audition for a Northcott main stage show with a community cast, which in 2024 was the hugely successful The Commotion Time.

Encore Dance

Encore Dance classes for older people focus on taught exercises and repertory, as well as creative and improvised elements, designed to keep bodies and minds active and engaged. You’ll also look at technique to develop mobility, strength and wellbeing. Our course leader Willa Faulkner will use the group members’ interests and ideas to form a creative stimulus and devise a performance together for friends and family to come and watch at the end of each term.
