Murder Mystery: The Engagement Party

  • Show Information

At a luncheon party at Loxley Manor in 1925, Abigail Chalmers, only daughter of Sir Philip and Lady Margaret Chalmers, decided to break with tradition and to propose to her young man, David Trent.

Initially, he appeared hesitant, but the pressure of the evening made him accept, and as the lunch proceeded, there seemed to be an atmosphere of celebration in the air.

However, by the end of the night, Abigail lay dead, apparently poisoned. Who was responsible? Why was she killed?

The Police are called, and an investigation ensues. Secrets and lies come to light, and the tension mounts. Will there be another death?

All the clues will be there to lead to the correct culprit, but will they be correctly deduced? The Investigator, together with the other guests present, is determined to get the truth before the night is over.

Your ticket includes a delectable sharing platter of continental meats, mozzarella with pesto, olives, sundried tomatoes, salad, coleslaw, and chutney accompanied by various breads. This will be followed by a dessert of theatre favourites, popcorn and ice cream.

Vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free options are available – please contact us in advance to let us know about any dietary requirements by emailing [email protected] or calling our friendly Box Office team on 01392 72 63 63.
