Jekyll & Hyde

  • Show Information

Adapted from the original novella by Evan Placey, first commissioned and performed by the National Youth Theatre.

Jekyll & Hyde like you’ve never seen it: bold, brutal, and burning with questions that refuse to die.

When men write the rules, women rewrite the story. In Victorian London, Harriet Jekyll refuses to mourn quietly. Instead, she takes up her husband’s dangerous experiments and unleashes Lady Hyde – a force of rage, rebellion, and transformation. Fast‑forward to the present day, where Florence battles the pressures and contradictions of modern girlhood. Two timelines collide in a dark, daring story of power, protest, and voices that refuse to stay silent.

This fierce imagining of Evan Placey’s ground‑breaking play delivers a visceral clash of past and present – unapologetic, unsettling, and unmissable.

Bold. Brutal. Defiant.
