Elevate Festival – Physicality for Performers workshop
A movement session for theatre makers, actors, physical performers and dancers.
Working with physicality and ensemble movement games, join Sally Knight – Artist development producer at Hall for Cornwall and Movement director/Choreographer for a playful session to get the body moving and the creative energy flowing.
Work on physical devising tasks to integrate spoken word with movement.
Prior to joining the HfC team, Sally worked for two decades as a dancer, physical performer, choreographer, movement director, actor-movement trainer with companies including Cscape, Kneehigh and o-region.
About Sally Knight
Sally Knight works at Hall for Cornwall as the Husa Artist Development Manager. Prior to this she worked extensively across dance and theatre on a national scale specialising in movement for theatre and dance. Sally is the Artistic Director of Cscape and has created many touring and site -specific shows over the past 25 years, She has received major commissions from museums, festivals, theatres, gardens and heritage organisations and specialises in storytelling through movement.
Alongside this Sally has performed nationally and internationally with companies including Kneehigh, o-region and Cscape and has worked as a movement director, teacher/educator in a wide range of settings and lecturer in Movement training for actors at Falmouth University.
