    What types of comedy shows do you have in Exeter?

    We programme a wide range of comedy at both the Northcott and Barnfield Theatres, from stand-up comedy nights and solo touring shows to comedy theatre productions. We also host regular Comedy Store nights at the Barnfield Theatre throughout the year.

    Are comedy shows suitable for all ages?

    This varies by show. Each event listing includes age guidance. Some stand-up shows are recommended for ages 16+ or 18+, while comedy theatre productions may be suitable for younger audiences. If you’re unsure about a specific show, the Box Office team can advise – call 01392 72 63 63 (Tuesday to Saturday, 10am–2pm).

    Can I book comedy tickets on the door?

    We always recommend booking in advance, especially for popular stand-up nights, which can sell out. The Box Office opens before each show, and any remaining tickets can be purchased then, but availability is not guaranteed.

    How do I get discounts on comedy tickets in Exeter?

    Our members receive up to 4 tickets with 20% off for participating shows.

    U26 Membership is free for anyone aged 14 – 25 and gives access to £5 and £10 ticket deals on selected shows. You must be under 26 years old to book these tickets.
