Fierce new moves from fierce new dancers – the world’s most exhilarating early career dancers bring their latest creations to Exeter.
Formed each year from a global search for new contemporary dance talent, Rambert2’s dancers combine technical virtuosity with raw energy. They work with some of the most exciting international choreographers around to create dance pieces that embody their fearless spirit.
Rambert2’s new programme features Sin, a duet by Damien Jalet and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, created as part of their 2010 Olivier Award-winning piece Babel(words). It also includes new works Sama by Andrea Miller, a star of the New York dance scene known for “visceral, imaginative work, where dancers can seem to do the impossible” (Dance Magazine) and Terms and Conditions by Jermaine Spivey, a dancer and choreographer best known for his standout performances with Crystal Pite’s Kidd Pivot.
“Edgy, cool, challenging, excellent.”
