BOURNEMOUTH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA PRESENTS

In Memoriam

7.30pm

THE GREAT HALL, UNIVERSITY OF EXETER

Richard Farnes
Jack Liebeck

Reminding us of the soothing power of music at times of loss and heartache, this is a concert of deeply moving works. Britain’s favourite piece of classical music, The Lark Ascending live in concert is simply stunning.  It is framed by two beautiful works dealing with the sadness of the Great War – a memorial to friends, and to a world lost forever.

Programme:

Ravel Le tombeau de Couperin
Vaughan Williams The Lark Ascending
Elgar Symphony No.2
