3pm, at Southernhay United Reformed Church

Howard Shelley, one of this country’s outstanding pianists, performs three chamber music masterpieces by Mozart and Schumann with principals from the London Mozart Players – Ruth Rogers, Judith Busbridge and Sarah Butcher – in a concert in aid of UNICEF. Mozart’s Violin Sonata in E minor and G minor Piano Quartet, plus Schumann’s joyous Piano Quartet in Eb, make up this exciting programme.

With his world-wide reputation as both pianist and conductor, Howard Shelley’s many CD recordings, and especially the Piano Concertos of Mozart, Beethoven and Rachmaninoff, have been universally praised.
