Heritage Open Days 2019 - Behind the Scenes Tours

Thu 19 & Fri 20 September 2019

2pm & 3pm

A rare opportunity to tour behind the scenes of Exeter Northcott Theatre.

The Northcott is a place to experience exceptional live performance from across the country, as well as exciting new work being made right here in the South West. For Open Days, we are organising backstage tours to give you a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes.

Caroline Walter – the archivist responsible for cataloguing the Exeter Northcott Archive, housed with the University of Exeter – will be joining us for the tours. Caroline will be on hand to talk about the materials that people can find in the Collection and to share some of the stories and themes about the theatre and its heritage that she has identified in her work.

You are also most welcome at our bar and restaurant, and we would love to see you at a performance of Malory Towers, an adaptation of Enid Blyton’s book series, by Emma Rice’s Wise children, which plays at 7.30pm on both evenings.
