Fauré Requiem, Dvořák Mass in D
Conductor: Raymond Calcraft

This concert, to be given in the presence of the Lord Mayor of Exeter, is devoted to music by two well-loved composers. Both Fauré’s Requiem and Dvořák’s Mass received their first public performances in 1888. This concert, marking the 130th anniversary of those premières, also includes Fauré’s beautiful Messe basse. Artists include soprano Catherine Hamilton, mezzo-soprano Svetlina Stoyanova, tenor Tom Robson and baritone Julian Rippon, with former Cathedral Organist Paul Morgan, and members of Exeter Philharmonic Choir.
