The village had been busy with preparations for the Summer Fete in the Church Hall but as the villagers looked forward to a pleasant afternoon, they were unaware of some of tensions and secrets that were rife in Lower Ashford.

The Vicar greeted the guests as they arrived, and his wife was busy in the kitchen cutting the crusts off the sandwiches and arranging the dainty cakes on the three-tier cake stands. It was going to be a lovely afternoon.

Suddenly they were interrupted by local magistrate and dignitary Colonel Jefferson with the news that an accident had occurred at St Matthews Church which was adjacent to the hall. The local postman Andrew Richards had been hit on head by one of the gargoyles which had apparently fallen from the church roof.

The police were called and immediately began an investigation. Was it a terrible accident or were there other forces at play? Chief Inspector Appleby was determined to get to the truth, and he quickly reduced his suspects to just four people. He asks the other guests at the fete for their help. All the clues will be there to find the killer, but will they be correctly deduced?

Ticket price includes pizza and dessert.
