Rent The Musical

  • Show Information

Shotgun are proud to present their 2026 production of RENT. RENT was first performed Off-Broadway in 1996 with its success taking it to Broadway later that year. Written by Jonathon Larson (writer of Tick, Tick… Boom!), this show centres around a group of friends living in the East Village of New York City, following their struggles during the AIDS crisis, and their journey of finding love and friendship through hardships. Through songs such as La Vie Bohème and Seasons of Love, you’ll watch a celebration of life, diversity and the LGBTQ+ community, all through the lens of filmmaker Mark Cohen’s camera.

Age 18+
This performance contains death/suicide, sex, substance abuse and strong language.
