Spork! proudly presents an evening of poetry, comedy, and spoken word, featuring four extraordinary artists as part of Reclaim Festival 2025.

Headlined by the hilarious Clare Ferguson Walker (“Funny as F*ck” — John Cooper-Clarke), this is a poetry night for those who don’t really like poetry, and the perfect night for those who do! With feature sets from South West poets Jackie Juno and Jaidah McDill. All hosted by the fabulous Ceri Baker.

Ceri Baker is the current Bard of Exeter and a Spork! Poetry regular; a multi-slam-winning poet who dives into the funny side of life’s serious moments. Her work explores themes of womanhood, change, nature, grief, neurodiversity, motherhood, sex, cycles, and creativity.

Clare Ferguson-Walker is a multi-award-winning comic poet who has performed the UK with her unique brand of poetry that walks the tightrope between humour and human fragility. She often tours with legendary punk poet John Cooper Clarke.

Jackie Juno has been lighting up stages for over 30 years as a comedian, poet, and local legend. Her hilarious, heartfelt, and hard-hitting work champions women’s rights, environmental justice, and social change. Jackie’s latest collection, Extra Ordinary Women, pays homage to the quiet heroes among us.

Jaidah McDill is a captivating South West based poet whose soulful and thought-provoking work has been featured on the BBC and beyond. She’s a winner of multiple poetry slams, a regular at many SW poetry nights. Her work aims to capture the intricate relationship between nature and the human spirit.
