Reclaim: Befriending Imposter Syndrome Workshop
Impostor syndrome affects over 70% of people — and for many women in the arts, it’s a familiar and persistent voice of self-doubt. Despite years of experience, achievements, or recognition, that internal question — “Do I really belong here?” — can quietly hold us back from stepping into opportunities or owning our creative space.
This workshop offers a space to pause, reflect, and challenge those internal narratives. We’ll explore the different forms impostor syndrome can take, why is shows up as well as how to work with it — not against it. Drawing on tools from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), we’ll develop practical strategies for navigating self-doubt, building confidence, and reconnecting with what drives you creatively and professionally.
Whether you’re just starting out or an established practitioner, this session is designed to support you in stepping forward with more clarity, courage and self-compassion.
This event will be run by Anna Croucher.
