Murder Mystery Dining: The Moonstone

  • Show Information

It is 1935. Gabriel Horncastle runs a successful jewellery business and has arranged a party for his friends and family to celebrate a special anniversary and the finding of a fabulous emerald in Egypt many years before, but the death of a guest expected to attend had thrown a damper on proceedings.

The death was that of James Whitworth, a local doctor who had recently retired. At first it was thought that he had succumbed to natural causes, but the view of the police surgeon who examined the body was that all was not as it seemed…

Detective Chief Inspector Appleby now seeks the help of others at the party in trying to determine which, or how many, of those four were responsible for Dr Whitworth’s death.

All the clues will be there to catch the killer, but will they be correctly identified? Chief Inspector Appleby is determined to get to the truth before releasing anyone from the building!

Your ticket includes a delectable sharing platter of continental meats, mozzarella with pesto, olives, sundried tomatoes, salad, coleslaw, and chutney accompanied by various breads. This will be followed by a dessert of theatre favourites, popcorn and ice cream.

Vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free options are available – please contact us in advance to let us know about any dietary requirements by emailing [email protected] or calling our friendly Box Office team on 01392 72 63 63.
