After taking New Zealand and Australia by storm, Melanie hits the UK shores for the first time with her critically acclaimed show Forget Me Not. A show about desperately trying to be remembered, love, and eggs.

As seen on Taskmaster NZ, Have You Been Paying Attention and star of her own show The Cheap Seats, Melanie promises to bring you her signature brand of relatable, goofy, punchline-heavy stand-up comedy.

You may have seen her work in Wellington Paranormal as a writer for all four seasons of the smash-hit comedy series. One of her episodes took out ‘Best Comedy Script’ in the New Zealand Television Awards. Or you’ve seen her on TikTok, where her videos impersonating Jacinda Ardern went global, appearing on the BBC.

But stand-up comedy is where Melanie shines. She has won the Billy T Award and Best Newcomer Award in the New Zealand Comedy Festival, Directors Choice in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and was hand-selected in 2023 to perform in the prestigious Just For Laughs festival in Montreal. A star in the making, don’t miss one of New Zealand’s most successful exports.

Melanie is delighted to be joined by the hilarious Ray O’Leary (Taskmaster NZ). Ray O’Leary is a fast-rising star on the New Zealand and Australian comedy scene, known for his razor-sharp wit, deadpan delivery and ill-fitting grey suit. He has performed alongside top comedic talent, including Flight of the Conchords and Rhys Darby.

“Her style is punchline on the punchline, then another punchline. Then a final knockout punchline when you’re already reeling.”

Sydney Morning Herald

“Amusing extrapolations interspersed with snappy one-liners are fashioned into a blitzing, clever, supremely satisfying set.”
