It is the digital age. Around us; the news, the internet and social media… all saying the same thing. Medea has been cancelled.

Once beloved by the people, she now stands alone. Abandoned by her friends, betrayed by the man she loved and left to battle a world which seemingly wants to destroy her, Medea thinks of only one thing… revenge. For she is not a woman to take this lightly, nor is her wrath a force to be underestimated.

The Anthos Young Company present a brand-new modern adaptation of Euripides’ legendary tragedy, exploring the world of Ancient Greek theatre in the modern era.

Anthos Arts is an Exeter-based arts organisation which has been working with children and young people aged 6 – 18 since 2015. Our fantastic Anthos Young Company is comprised of young performers age 11 – 16.
