Exeter Northcott Theatre presents

Forever Young

  • Show Information

Get ready for a riotous night of music, mischief and memories at the Northcott.

Forever Young by Erik Gedeon is the hit jukebox musical that blends big laughs, heartfelt moments and iconic songs in one unmissable night out.

It is fifty years into the future. The Northcott Theatre has been transformed into a retirement home for older actors – but this lot aren’t living out their days quietly! Beloved performers from your favourite Northcott plays and pantos return as defiant older versions of themselves. With fierce energy, they belt out rock and pop anthems, reminisce about their stage days, and raise a little hell along the way.

There is something deeply hopeful in watching people choose life, connection and mischief even as time presses in. These characters are sharp, funny, rebellious and complex, still driven by desire, frustration, curiosity and political fire.

A joyful, audacious show chock-full of unforgettable music, including I Will Survive, I Got You Babe, I Love Rock ’n’ Roll, Imagine, Respect, and many more. Expect physical comedy, cheeky surprises and a whole lot of heart in a feel-good celebration of theatre, music, and growing older without growing up.

Including Jodie Micciché (Jack and the Beanstalk, Romeo & Juliet, Cinderella, Dick Whittington, Robin Hood), Molly Cheesley (Jack and the Beanstalk, Dick Whittington, Robin Hood), Andrew Armfield (The Elves and the Shoemaker, The Jolly Christmas Postman), Madison Grace (Romeo & Juliet) and Pete Watts (Exe Men) as their older selves.

Book now and come ready to cheer, laugh and sing along!
