Exeter Variety Show 2026

  • Show Information

Exeter Variety Show 2026 is a dynamic talent showcase featuring drama, live music, and dance, performed in Cantonese, Putonghua and English. Part of a long-standing tradition among Hong Kong students across UK universities, this annual production celebrates creativity, culture, and community.

This year’s original story explores a profound bond between two people – “almost like family, almost like friends” – whose university years are shaped by loyalty, misunderstanding, and emotional complexity. When hidden struggles surface and misperceptions deepen, their relationship is tested in unexpected ways. Through dramatic storytelling, powerful vocals, and expressive choreography, the show examines love in its most fragile and courageous forms.

Blending theatrical scenes with solo and group musical performances, as well as high-energy dance pieces, Exeter VShow 2026 offers an engaging two-hour experience for audiences of all backgrounds.

Join us for an evening of culture, creativity, and connection as we bring this original production to life on stage.
