Meet America’s friendliest politician! He isn’t afraid of the RUFF questions! He won’t ROLL OVER on the big issues! Vote for him to SIT in office!

An unbelievable true story told by someone who made themselves a part of it. While learning about Mayor Max, we ask questions about belief, eccentricity and purpose. Get to know the small town of Idyllwild! The town with a dog for a Mayor!


Alex Robins is a playwright and game developer based in the South West. He is currently an associate artist for the National Theatre’s Speak Up project in North Devon and is developing Meet Mayor Max to be toured next year.

Jon Nash is a director and playwright based in Devon. He is currently a mentored writer for Paines Plough’s Tour The Writer project and is touring the interactive one person show Is Anybody There? with Open Plan Theatre.
