Richard Chappell Dance presents

BLOOM

  • Show Information

Internationally acclaimed Richard Chappell Dance returns with BLOOM – a dynamic programme of transformative dance, featuring highlights from the company’s repertoire and performances from the South West’s brightest young artists.

At the heart of the evening is Challacombe Chronicled, celebrating the landscape of Dartmoor through captivating movement and powerful original poetry by Saili Katebe. The programme also features two original works by dancers in the company; No Idea What I’m Doing by Aisha Naamani, an ode to the dawning realities of adulthood; and The Renegade Master, Juan Sanchez Plaza’s Queer celebration of hope and unity.

Based in Devon, Richard Chappell Dance works at the forefront of interdisciplinary collaboration to create memorable and moving dance for audiences across the UK and beyond.

Challacombe Chronicled is the Leeside Arts Commission for Challacombe Farm, which is a creative collaboration between Natural England and Arts and Culture Exeter.
