Freddy Kempf is one of today’s most successful young artists performing to sell-out audiences all over the world. Freddy came to national prominence in 1992 when he won the BBC Young Musician of the Year Competition. He won even more fame for only taking the third prize in the 1998 Moscow Tchaikovsky International Piano Competition which caused an outcry from the audience and Russian press which proclaimed him "the hero of the competition".

Current and forthcoming season highlights include engagements with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and recitals in St Petersburg Grand Hall, London Cadogan Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Manchester Bridgewater Hall and the National Concert Hall in Dublin.
